I love this time of the year when we often have hot air balloons drifting across our house in the early mornings. And, it only gets more exciting as we get closer to the Balloons Over Waikato Festival in March. I was reflecting on this as I created this encouragement card using the Lighter Than Air Suite, found on pages 32-34 of the January-April 2024 Mini Catalogue.
Today we commemorate the first signing of New Zealand's founding document, Te Tiriti o Waitangi (The Treaty of Waitangi) on 6 February 1840. While the day can be marked with celebrations and festivities, it is also a time for reflection and acknowledging the complex history of the Treaty and its ongoing impact on the relationship between Māori and Pākehā.

The Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder die-cuts and embossed ten versatile sentiments. So, when I created the "love you" Valentine's Day card, I had lots of words left over I could use for other greeting cards. So, I used the same card design but created this fun "celebrate" birthday card.

It says, "Use the Stampin' Brayer to ink the logo side of the embossing folder, then add the dies", which is the technique I have used to create this Valentine's Day or Anniversary Card...
