Last weekend we held the Waterside Retreat Stamp Camp, where we created so many beautiful projects using the oh-so-versatile Waterside Retreat Suite. But that's just one part of Stamp Camp — there's always a challenge or two thrown in for good measure, and this one was a favourite. There’s something rather lovely about a little Christmas spirit in the middle of winter — and this month, the Creativity Abounds Design Team is bringing plenty of it! I’m delighted to be crafting alongside them again as we share our Christmas in July Tutorial Bundle. July really is the perfect time to get a head start on your Christmas projects — a little creativity now means a lot less rush come December!
Yesterday was our Hamilton Extravaganza, one of my favourite events that we hold three times a year—and what a fabulous day it was! We spent the day sharing creativity, catching up with friends, making new ones, and, of course, creating five beautiful projects. This was the project that Fiona and I taught, featuring the gorgeous new Violet Dreams Suite from this month’s Online Exclusives.
As the stars of Matariki rise once again, we’re reminded to pause and reflect. It is a special time to honour those who have gone before us, celebrate the people and moments that enrich our lives today, and look forward with hope to all that the new year may bring.
I hope this Matariki gives you the opportunity to slow down, spend time with those you love, and perhaps even carve out a little creative time for yourself. Wishing you a joyful and meaningful Matariki.
