Did you see this Sticky Note Holder with its gorgeous gold-foiled butterflies? When I finished, I had the three remaining butterflies from the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies, all inked and looking pretty on my crafting table. So I reached for the Basic White Note Cards and created these sweet cards…

Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies + Butterfly Flight Decorative Masks Bundle (170065) - $95.25
When you use the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies and coordinating Butterfly Flight Decorative Masks you create all five butterflies at once, colouring them all together with the masks, and then die-cutting them all out with one pass. That’s the beauty and the simplicity of these fabulous products. But the downside (if it really is a downside) is that I had five shiny butterflies to play with. Two went on the Sticky Note Holder, and then I used two more on this card…

I stamped “Thinking of you” from the Thinking of You stamp set in Pool Party ink in the middle of a Basic White Note Card. Then I stamped “ON YOUR SPECIAL DAY” in Pretty Peacock ink onto a 1 cm (3/8") strip of Basic White cardstock and added it underneath with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The final touch was to add the two butterflies with Tombow Glue behind the bodies and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the wings, making the butterflies look like they are lifting off the page!
The second Note Card is similar – I stamped “sending so much love your way” in Pretty Peacock ink onto a 2 cm x 7.5 cm (3/4" x 3") piece of Basic White cardstock, added it to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, and adhered the largest butterfly above. So much wow!

If you’ve been curious about hot foiling, these butterflies are a wonderful reason to try it. The gold outlines come from the Stampin’ Hot Foil System, and the softly layered wings are courtesy of the Butterfly Flight Decorative Masks – such a delightful partnership.
