At the recently held Catalogue Launch Party, we had a wonderful time playing with new products from the September–December 2026 Catalogue. One such product was the fabulous Round About Messages stamp set, which conveniently coordinates with the versatile 2" Circle Punch.

Round About Stamp Set (photopolymer: 168410) - $42.00

The gorgeous aquatic palette on this birthday card was inspired by the colours in the Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper: a Pretty Peacock card base with layers of Blueberry Bushel and Shaded Spruce Two-Tone cardstock. Why Two-Tone? Because I was able to use both the light and dark sides to introduce different shades of the same colour – fun!

This card design is simple in its concept and a joy to stamp! I punched three 2" circles out of Two-Tone cardstock and two out of the Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper. The two Blueberry Bushel circles were stamped with “celebrate” from the Round About Messages stamp set in Azure Afternoon ink. The Shaded Spruce circle was cut in half and stamped with those cute hearts in Shaded Spruce ink.

Finally, I stamped “Happy Birthday to you” and the sweet birthday cake in Basic Black ink onto Basic White cardstock, and punched it out with the 2" Circle Punch. To add a little glam, the cake was coloured with the Hydrangea Hue and Golden Glow Shimmer Brushes.

Once I had all those stamped circular elements, I laid them evenly over my card front and adhered them, popping the centre circle up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

What I love most about Round About Messages stamp set is just how far it stretches – from a quick and simple card like this one, right through to something layered and fussy-cut if that’s more your style. The sentiments sit happily on their own or inside a punched circle, so it’s genuinely one of those sets you’ll reach for again and again, whatever you’re making.
