We’re continuing our journey through the new 2026–2028 In Colors from the May-August 2026 Catalogue.  After exploring Crisp Cantaloupe, Peaceful Pine, and Hydrangea Hue, it’s now time to enjoy the delicate and airy beauty of BARELY BLUSH.

Barely Blush is a soft, barely-there pink with warm peach undertones and a delicate, airy feel.  It’s warmer and peachier than Bubble Bath, yet lighter and softer than Petal Pink.  Gentle and understated, it creates a beautiful backdrop for today’s scrapbook project featuring lovely details from the Heirloom Boutique Bundle.

If you were on my email list this month, you’ll already have the instructions to create the 12” x 12” scrapbook layout celebrating my dear mother-in-law’s 80th birthday.  But one page simply wasn’t enough to tell the whole story, which is why I created this complementary 6” x 8” layout to help set the scene and capture a few more memories from the day.

The base of the layout is Barely Blush Two-Tone cardstock, with a soft Hydrangea Hue banner tucked behind the matted photo using paper from the Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper pack.  I then added coordinating die-cut flowers and leaves to frame the photo, heat embossed “better together” in gold beneath it, and finished with handwritten journaling to capture the details of the celebration.

Soft, romantic, and wonderfully versatile, Barely Blush adds warmth without overpowering a project.  Next time, we’ll complete the collection with the rich golden tones of Golden Glow.  Until then… happy crafting!
