Do you do this too?  I spot a fabulous project in a catalogue and suddenly have to recreate it!  It was love at first sight when I saw the beautiful blue gift topper created with the Playful Packaging Bundle on page 48 of the May–August 2026 Catalogue.  Here is my version…

Playful Packaging Stamp Set + Playful Packing Dies Bundle (167600) - $85.50

I stayed true to the original design but switched up the colours to coordinate with the Licorice Tall Sorts I packaged for gifting.  The playful palette of Strawberry Slush, Flirty Flamingo, and Crisp Cantaloupe felt like the perfect match.

The fun topper with its little handle was surprisingly easy to create using the die-cut pieces from the Playful Packaging Dies.  I created mine in Basic White cardstock and attached it to the top of a Flat 4” x 8” Cellophane Bag.  From there, I layered on trims in Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush cardstock, then stamped those sweet stars along the bottom edge in Strawberry Slush ink.

The sentiment was heat embossed in white onto the handy die-cut label and tied with a length of White Baker’s Twine.  Then came my favourite finishing touch — those adorable stitched stars, die-cut from Strawberry Slush, Flirty Flamingo, and Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock and popped up on Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Such a fun little detail!

Pretty packaging like this makes a gift feel just that little bit more special, don’t you think?  While mine is filled with sweets, imagine how lovely this would be for homemade treats, gift cards, small stationery gifts, jewellery, bath goodies, party favours, or little “just because” surprises.  Sometimes it’s the thoughtful packaging that makes the biggest impression.
