This stunning card has a quiet beauty in the scene on the card front, beautifully contrasted by the surprise inside — a fun Pop-Up Panel Card!  See how the panel pops forward when the card is opened?  Such a clever little mechanism, inspired by Meg Loven, that adds just the right amount of wow.

To create the peaceful card front, I softly blended Pool Party ink onto a Basic White panel using a Blending Brush, working from the top down to create a gentle ombré sky.  I then repeated the process from the bottom up using Gray Granite ink for a soft grounding effect.  A little stamping with those beautiful beach grasses in Gray Granite ink helps build the scene before adding the fun chair focal point.

The chair pieces were die-cut from Pecan Pie cardstock and easily slotted together to create a lovely dimensional detail on the card front.  Adirondack chair?  Cape Cod chair?  Either way, it feels like the perfect spot to sit, relax, and enjoy the view!
