The front of this birthday card has a lovely clean, white feel that really lets the stamped and die-cut florals shine, framing that beautiful scalloped sentiment.  Of course, I couldn’t resist adding a few touches of gold!  There’s the gorgeous gold accented patterned paper trim tucked beneath the sentiment, die-cut from the Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper, plus a flourish of Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon peeking out from behind the flowers for extra texture and sparkle.

…wow!  Did you spot that?  A large scalloped circle lifts and pops up as the card opens — such a fun surprise!  This pop-up mechanism was inspired by Alisa Tilsner, and it adds just the right amount of interactive fun to an elegant birthday design.
