We’re continuing our look at the 2025–2027 In Colors, featured in the 2025–2026 Annual Catalogue. So far, we’ve talked about Darling Duckling, Strawberry Slush, and Timid Tiger. Now let’s take a breath and explore the soft, soothing tones of CLOUD COVER.

Cloud Cover is a soft, misty blue-grey with subtle green undertones. It’s cooler than Pool Party and more muted and sage-toned than Smoky Slate. I paired this cool neutral with the warmth of Timid Tiger to create a bold, contrasting background for a birthday-themed scrapbook layout.

Impressions Abloom Stamp Set (photopolymer: 165605) - $42.00
You’d be forgiven for thinking this fabulous scrapbooking layout was created with a non-floral stamp set — but look a little closer! The stamped dots on the Cloud Cover cardstock and the subtle leaves on the Timid Tiger panel are both from the Impressions Abloom stamp set. I love how versatile this set is!
I created this layout at a recent demonstrator conference — it was such an uplifting, inspiring time with a supportive and fun group of creatives. Events like this are a great reminder of the vibrant community that comes with being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.
Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room... you might have noticed there’s no Cloud Cover Classic Stampin' Pad available. That’s right! Due to unforeseen quality issues resulting in inconsistent ink colour, Cloud Cover will not be offered as a Classic Stampin’ Pad. But don’t worry — there are still great ways to stamp with this dreamy new In Color!
I’ve shared a few creative workarounds in this post:
Stamping with Cloud Cover – Tips & Ideas
In this layout, I used one of those techniques: stamping with a Stampin’ Write Marker. The dots on the Cloud Cover panel were created by inking the large and small flower centres from Impressions Abloom directly with the Cloud Cover marker — an easy way to keep stamping with your favourite new shade!

There’s something so peaceful about Cloud Cover—it’s soft and subtle but full of character. It pairs beautifully with both bold and muted tones. To finish the series, we’ll be diving into the deep and dramatic depths of Secret Sea.
