A week ago, I hosted our bi-monthly Scrapbooking Escape, and at the January event we created with the fabulous Exploring Nature Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. It was such a fun, relaxed day of creativity! Today I’m sharing one of the three double-page layouts I completed.
Today we mark Waitangi Day, commemorating the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (The Treaty of Waitangi) on 6 February 1840. It is a day that holds both celebration and significance — a time to reflect on our shared history, recognise the ongoing journey of Te Tiriti, and consider what it continues to mean for Aotearoa New Zealand today.

Today is release day for the February Product of the Month, and while I don’t have the Painted Illusions 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper in my hands just yet, I have been happily creating with the January Product of the Month, which is still available while supplies last. The Fabulous Sayings stamp set stole my heart straight away — those large, handwritten script sentiments are just gorgeous, so naturally, they became the star of this birthday card.
This month is extra special because the talented Creativity Abounds Design Team has come together to bring you a brand-new online Stamp Camp! Held just three times a year, this event is a real highlight—and this time, it’s all centred around the utterly adorable Cute as a Bug Suite.
How cute is the Cute as a Bug Suite? This sweet and playful collection is perfect for all ages and works beautifully for so many occasions. And honestly… who wouldn’t love to receive a card like this on their birthday?
The Hearts Gusseted Treat Bags feature a delicate red heart pattern on a crisp white background—perfect for adding a soft pop of colour. For this Valentine treat bag, I used a Blending Brush to create a gentle ombré effect with Strawberry Slush ink, giving the bag a warm, romantic feel.
