I recently shared a bold, classically coloured Centre-Step Christmas Card. Today’s project uses the same fun-fold design and measurements, but with a softer, more masculine colour palette — perfect for celebrating that special person in your life.

Branching Out Stamp Set + Branching Out Dies Bundle (165776) - $100.75

The colour inspiration came straight from the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper, including the subtle check design featured on the panels. I paired it with Cloud Cover cardstock, which coordinates beautifully for a calm, elegant look.

For a little interest, I stamped tone-on-tone dots with VersaMark ink over the centre step — a simple detail that adds texture without overwhelming the design.

The front panel is built using the Branching Out Bundle.  I first die-cut a stitched frame from Basic White cardstock, then stamped the images: the branch in Basic Gray ink, the pine needles in Lost Lagoon ink, and the sweet pinecones in Pecan Pie ink.  This layering gives the focal point both depth and personality.

The pine branch motif continues on the inside of the card — a simple but thoughtful finishing touch.
