Have you seen the Love & Courage stamp set in the new mini catalogue?  I used this very special set earlier this week on an elegant thank you card.  I enjoyed creating the pretty emblem on the front of that card, so I decided to make a matching gift box with an acetate sleeve in the same theme and colour palette.

Love & Courage Stamp Set (cling: 165935) - $53.00

I began with a 14 cm x 23 cm (5-1/2" x 9") piece of Cloud Cover cardstock and scored at 4 cm (1-1/2") on all four sides.  I then cut along the score lines to create tabs and constructed the open tray box base.  To add a polished finish inside, I adhered a 6 cm x 15 cm (2-1/2" x 6") piece of Cloud Cover patterned paper.  For the acetate sleeve, I cut a 24 cm x 15 cm (9-1/2" x 6") piece of Window Sheet and scored it at 5 cm, 9 cm, 15 cm, and 19 cm (2", 3-1/2", 6", and 7-1/2").  After burnishing the score lines, I wrapped it around the simple box base and secured it on the underside with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

To decorate my gift box, I wrapped a length of Cloud Cover Faux Linen Ribbon around the acetate sleeve and tied a bow with some White Ribbon for a lovely flourish on the left edge.  I then added that sunflower motif to the top of the gift box with Stampin’ Dimensionals—you can find details on how to create it HERE.  Finally, I finished with a scattering of Gorgeous Grape Frosted Iridescent Dots.
