Have you started your Christmas cards yet? For most of the people who attended the recent Mini Catalogue Launch Party, this fun Christmas card, featuring the Merry & Bright Bundle, was their first festive card of the year...
Bundles: Merry & Bright Stamp Set + Merry & Bright Dies (photopolymer: 161951). Ink: Lemon Lime Twist (147145), Granny Apple Green (147095), Garden Green (147089), Crushed Curry (147087). Card/Paper: Pecan Pie (161726), Basic White (159228), Vellum (106584). Accessories: Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes (162177), Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins (161627). Tools: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder (162115), Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (144108).
We stamped the five blocked words from the Merry & Bright stamp set in a mixture of bright green inks: Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, and the star in Crushed Curry ink. These elements were then cut and assembled to create a fun Christmas tree. Do you see the light-fitting dies? The ones that look like striped coffee cups? We die-cut one of those out of Pecan Pie cardstock, trimmed off the "handle", and used it for the trunk of the tree.
And, how fun is that vellum panel! It was embossed with the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder and the pieces of the Christmas tree were assembled on top with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. The texture of the Christmas sentiments and festive images created by this embossing folder is fabulous! Once that was all constructed, the panel was adhered to a Brushed Gold Card base.
Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes (162177) - $25.25
Pack includes 20 card bases and 20 envelopes with brushed gold foil.
Oh my! The gold foil details on the Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes create beautiful greeting cards. I love how easy it was to create a stunning finish to this Christmas card with very little effort. This was such a fun card for everyone to create at the Mini Catalogue Launch Party.
