Blue is a lovely colour to create with, so I was delighted to see that the 2016-2018 In Colors included a cool-understated denim-blue. Here's my musings on the new Dapper Denim...

This is a great quote, from the front of the new 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue... "Colour isn't just pretty; it evokes emotions and helps us to express creativity". I love colour and I want to share with you my thoughts on the five new 2016-2018 In Colors. The first one we will explore will be Sweet Sugarplum.

Last Friday I held an Annual Catalogue Launch Party where we had hands-on exploration of new 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue products, make-and-takes, games, spot prizes, prize draws and more. I certainly had a lot of fun!

So, when I was packing for Europe and the Stampin' Up! Mediterranean Cruise three weeks ago, I decided to put in something creative, but what? I certainly didn't want to pack anything heavy or bulky, yet it needed to satisfy any stamping urges I may have while away. The Big Shot was a little to big to include, the airlines frown upon anything pointy and I just couldn't fit all my stamp sets in. The solution... a Stampin' Up! Card Kit. It's compact, light-weight and projects can be completed in small spaces. Problem solved!

My nephew turns five and starts school in a couple of weeks. It's such a big deal and I wanted to make him a special card that featured the big "5". I think this card fits the bill...
