My nephew turns five and starts school in a couple of weeks. It's such a big deal and I wanted to make him a special card that featured the big "5". I think this card fits the bill...

This children's birthday card was inspired by a card a similar one I saw online a while ago. Unfortunately, I didn't keep a copy of the image or where I found it, which is a shame as I love to give credit to anyone that inspires me.

I love this fun, versatile design and it could be easily adapted for any birthday number or perhaps a name or "Dad", "Mum", "Yay", "Fun" or other sentiment. All you need to do is lay the dies across the front panel and die-cut (the Magnetic Platform makes this process easy). This panel is then propped up on the card front using Stampin' Dimensonals with a little coloured card stock under opening you want to highlight.
