Last month, I hosted another Scrapbooking Escape—a full day devoted to creativity, connection, and getting those beautiful memories onto pages. It was the perfect excuse to step away from the everyday hustle and enjoy some uninterrupted crafting time surrounded by like-minded creatives.
A card-making friend recently celebrated her birthday, and I wanted to create something special to mark the occasion. I took colouring inspiration from the Petal Arrangements Thank You Card I recently made, and designed this elegant birthday card in Blackberry Bliss, with delicate touches of gold.

This project is a wonderful fusion of a tri-fold card and a dutch door card, creating a layered, dimensional scene with plenty of wow-factor. I’ve used the Scenic Adventure Bundle to design a masculine, outdoor-themed birthday card.
Have you seen the Modern Christmas Suite? There is so much glorious crafting goodness in this collection. I love that it offers an elegant twist on the traditional Christmas colour palette. I drew inspiration from Christmas decorations I’ve created in the past—along with the Christmas Ornaments Kit—to design these elegant black, white, and gold tree decorations.
This month is really special, and I am excited because the talented Creativity Abounds Design Team are putting together an online Stamp Camp for you! This event occurs three times a year, and this one is centred around Christmas, featuring the stunning Modern Christmas Suite.
What a weekend! On Saturday, I had the absolute pleasure of attending a Connect & Craft demonstrator event in Auckland, and it was such a blast. Some of my wonderful team came along too, and the day was filled with laughter, creativity, and plenty of catching up with friends. We had time for guided projects as well as the freedom to work on our own, which made it the perfect mix of structured fun and relaxed crafting.
There’s a new stamp in town! The Petal Arrangements stamp set is a fabulous card-front-sized background stamp that can also be broken apart so you can use the images individually. It features the striking Protea and Plumeria flowers—bold, detailed, and perfect for a variety of styles. For today’s elegant thank you card, I’ve used all the stamps together as a single background and then spotlighted the Protea image for extra impact.
