The Hearts Gusseted Treat Bags are such a dream to work with.  They feature a delicate white-and-red heart design that looks beautiful just as it is — or you can easily customise them with ink if you prefer.  Even better, they’re food-safe, have a wired top for easy folding, and plenty of room for a generous treat.

For my first bag, I kept things simple with a sweet gift tag.  I die-cut a heart from Bubble Bath cardstock and stamped “To:” using the Endless Love Bundle with Real Red ink.  I paired it with a decorative tag die-cut from Real Red cardstock and featuring a string of cut-out hearts, threaded both onto Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon, wrapped it around the bag, and finished with a bow.

To add a fun detail, I backed Basic White cardstock with Adhesive Sheet before die-cutting the “XO.”  That tiny heart inside the “O” is just too cute!  Once die-cut, I peeled off the backing and added it straight onto the tag.

For the second bag, I made a small tweak to create a flat base — perfect if you want it to stand up.  I scored the bag 3.5 cm (1-3/8") up from the bottom, then carefully cut along the score lines on both the front and back where they meet the red gusseted sides.  After folding the tabs underneath, I adhered them in place to form a neat base.

I finished this version of the Hearts Gusseted Treat Bag with the same pretty tag and that gorgeous Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon, keeping the two designs beautifully coordinated.
