In New Zealand, we celebrate Father's Day on the first Sunday of September. So I am getting a head start on some ideas for this special day. This Father's Day card is brought to you by the Traveler stamp set, one of my favourites in the Annual Catalogue...
The Flower Patch stamp set that I have been creating projects with is a photopolymer stamp set. Photopolymer is the construction material used to create a clear, see-through stamp, which is very different from our traditional red-rubber stamps. Photopolymer stamps are not a replacement for red-rubber stamps (which will always have a place in my craft room) but there are things you can do with photopolymer that you can't do with red-rubber. One of those is shaping your stamps. On this card I bent the BE YOU {TIFUL} stamp as I adhered it to the clear block so when I stamped it had a fabulous curved shape.
I received the Flower Patch stamp set at Convention this year and this was the first card I created using it - in fact, I created 30 of these cards for a swap. I didn't have the Flower Fair Framelits Dies (as the new Annual Catalogue hadn't been released) and I painfully hand-cut each of the flower elements for all 30 cards!
For the new Around The World Stampin' Up! Sketch Challenge I used the Flower Patch stamp set to create this "Happy Blooming' Birthday" card...
