Sunday was a fun, creative day as we entertained 70 guests at our annual Hamilton Extravaganza. As demonstrators, we start our day rather early - setting up displays, arranging tables and preparing to teach. Then, when our guests arrive, they find their seats as indicated by little gifts and name tags on their tables. For my guests, I used the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die and made little butterfly notepads with matching pens, coordinated with Stampin' Up! fabric and papers...

These ones were made using the Floral District Designer Fabric and DSP. There were others made with Comfort Cafe and Twitterpated. This lovely idea was inspired by Bronwen Cornish.
Throughout the day there were door prizes, which all demonstrators contributed items towards. Stampin' Up! donated some fabulous prizes too! Here's my contribution...

I made these cute butterfly charms using acetate, Crystal Effects, ink and Frost White Shimmer Paint (the very talented Heather Stewart showed me how to create these). And then I gift-wrapped them using the Scallop Envelope Bigz Die with a peek-a-boo window.
Here's some of the other prizes given out on the day...

At the Extravaganza we had five pairs of demonstrators who taught a project at each of the tables. At the end of the day, everyone of our guests took home five wonderful creations using a variety of techniques and products from the Seasonal and Sale-A-Bration catalogues.
Bev and Rhonda showed everyone how to make a fun popup card. This is the card front...

... and inside...

Gorgeous!
Rayleen and Irene used the Dress Up Framelits Dies on page 32 of the Seasonal Catalogue to create this beauty...

Don't you just love the Flower Trim and Paper Doilies on page 5 of the Seasonal Catalogue?
Jacque and Shona demonstrated a great way to alter $2-shop stationery to make a gorgeous gift...

Unfortunately Patrice was unable to attend, so Vivienne filled in for her and taught this Top Note die masculine card with Dallas. This project features the By The Tide stamp set on page 19 of the Seasonal Catalogue...

And finally, Christine and I (yes, two Kristine/Christine's teaching together!) used the gorgeous product collection on pages 28-30 of the Seasonal Catalogue to make a Piano Hinge Mini-Album...

Everyone had a wonderful day, including all the demonstrators, and we are looking forward to the next one - the Hamilton Christmas Extravaganza in October/November.
