Last weekend we held the Waterside Retreat Stamp Camp, where we created so many beautiful projects using the oh-so-versatile Waterside Retreat Suite. But that's just one part of Stamp Camp — there's always a challenge or two thrown in for good measure, and this one was a favourite. A photo was presented, and we were to create something inspired by the image itself, the layout, or the colours. This fun slimline card in beautiful, bright colours was what I created…

Bundles: Relaxing Waterside Stamp Set + Relaxing Waterside Dies (photopolymer: 167928).  Ink: Azure Afternoon (161663), Basic Black Hybrid (166648).  Card/Paper: Pumpkin Pie (108601), Daffodil Delight (121680), Granny Apple Green (147014), Basic White (166781), Basic White Thick (159230).  Tools: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Water & Dotted Lines 12" x 12" Decorative Masks (167760), Small Blending Brushes (160518), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108).

You could create this yourself! Start with a Basic White card base and, instead of folding it in half the "normal" way, rotate your cardstock 90-degrees and fold it. This creates a long, slimline card — perfect for showing off a scenic design like this one.

Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock a smidge smaller than your card front and use the amazing Water Mask from the Water & Dotted Lines Decorative Masks and a Small Blending Brush to apply Azure Afternoon ink across the bottom half. Apply the ink more heavily at the bottom and gradually lighten your blending as you work upwards. Add this beautifully inked piece of cardstock to the card front.

Die-cut three Adirondack chairs from cardstock in three bright colours. I've used Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green here. Assemble the chairs and arrange them across the card front.

The last bit of detail is stamping words and some fun beachy elements in Basic Black ink, die-cutting them, and adding them on and behind the chairs. How fun is that book and cup?!
