Here in New Zealand, we enjoyed a long weekend — the perfect excuse to break open my recently arrived Paper Pumpkin Kit!  This one is the Lakeside Retreat Kit, and it is fabulous, with outdoor-inspired imagery that works beautifully for masculine and gender-neutral greeting cards for all sorts of occasions.

I especially love the stamp set included in this kit — particularly the sentiments.  There are so many ways to mix and match the words to say exactly what you want.

This first of the three card designs is stunning with its rich blue background.  I love the peaceful beach scene with toi tois, seagulls, and that fun bicycle in the foreground.

Those same coastal images appear again on the second card, this time featuring a long scenic pier stretching into the distance.  And those pretty stones?  They’re embellishments included in the kit and add such a lovely textural detail to the card front.

The final card is full of fun pre-printed imagery, and I adore the playful sentiment combination “you are a lifesaver” paired with the life jackets on the front.  So clever!
