This month is extra special because the talented Creativity Abounds Design Team has come together to bring you a brand-new online Stamp Camp!  Held just three times a year, this event is a real highlight—and this time, it’s all centred around the utterly adorable Cute as a Bug Suite.

When you join the Cute as a Bug Stamp Camp, you’ll be guided through 13 exclusive tutorial projects, all designed to help you get the most out of your suite.  You’ll receive step-by-step written and video instructions, plus an event kit containing extra cardstock and pre-cut pieces to complete the projects with ease.

But that’s not all!  During the two-day virtual Stamp Camp, the team will also demonstrate 13 bonus projects live inside a private Facebook group.  That’s 26 projects in total—a wonderful mix of inspiration, learning, and creative fun with stampers from around the world.

To celebrate the upcoming Stamp Camp, the Creativity Abounds team is sharing a sneak peek of the 13 bonus projects today.  These are the projects that will be demonstrated live during Stamp Camp—so be sure to hop through everyone’s blogs for lots of inspiration!

Let’s talk about my bonus project…

The sweet little ladybird (or ladybug!) curled up with a book was the inspiration for this fun and practical bookmark.  I’ve used a 10 cm (4”) metal paperclip, stitched circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies, and elements from the Cute as a Bug Suite to create something that’s perfect for gifting—or keeping for yourself.

I coloured the ladybird in traditional hues using Stampin’ Blends, and the flowers reminded me so much of bluebells that I coloured them in soft blue tones to coordinate beautifully with the bookmark base.

Not keen on colouring—or want to create this project super quick?  Instead of stamping and colouring, you can use this gorgeous patterned paper from the Cute as a Bug Designer Series Paper pack…

…die-cut the images directly from the paper and use them instead!
