This card begins with a 14.5 cm x 29 cm (5-3/4” x 11-1/2”) piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, folded in half to create the oversized base.  The card front features a 14 cm (5-1/2”) square of Old Olive cardstock — and this is where the fun begins!

I smooshed Mossy Meadow ink directly onto the Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder, placed the Old Olive cardstock inside, and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.  The result is a beautifully textured wreath with rich two-tone detail — Mossy Meadow ink in the background and Old Olive leaves standing out on top.

To bring the wreath to life, I coloured the berries with the dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend.  I also added a soft wash of white ink to the base of the leaves using a Water Painter, followed by a touch of shimmer with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  Such a simple technique, but it adds so much depth and sparkle!

I finished the card by pairing the wreath with the tree from the Pine Tree Trimmings Bundle and a flourish of Mossy Meadow & Gold Ribbon.
