Earlier this week, I shared one of the make-and-take Christmas projects from my recent Mini Catalogue Launch Party — and today I’m excited to show you the second one!  This card is a simple, go-to fun-fold design featuring an easy patterned paper background and a bold sentiment from the versatile Sign Design Bundle.

The fun-fold starts with a standard Real Red card base.  We folded back the card front and added a focal panel to the folded section using Stampin’ Dimensionals — so simple, yet so effective!  Before attaching the front panel, we embossed a piece of Real Red cardstock with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder to add to the left side of the card.  Don’t the upright leaves look just like little Christmas trees?

For the background, we cut 2 cm (3/4”) strips of Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper and adhered them side by side.  It’s such a quick and easy way to add colour, pattern, and festive flair!

To finish, we added the bold “merry and bright” sentiment from the Sign Design Bundle, stamped in Secret Sea ink on Basic White cardstock, then punched out with the coordinating punch and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Simple, cheerful, and perfectly festive!
