There’s a new stamp in town!  The Petal Arrangements stamp set is a fabulous card-front-sized background stamp that can also be broken apart so you can use the images individually.  It features the striking Protea and Plumeria flowers—bold, detailed, and perfect for a variety of styles.  For today’s elegant thank you card, I’ve used all the stamps together as a single background and then spotlighted the Protea image for extra impact.

Petal Arrangements Stamp Set (cling: 165961) - $57.00

I paired the Petal Arrangements stamp set with products from the Gathering Together Suite—the Gathering Moments stamp set and coordinating Gathering Together 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.

I began with the Basic Beige patterned paper from the paper pack and stamped the Petal Arrangements background image in Basic Beige ink over the top.  This created a subtle, tone-on-tone backdrop for the card.  I then mounted it on a Basic Beige card base with a crisp Basic White mat underneath.

Next, I pulled the Protea flower from the Petal Arrangements background and stamped it individually in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Basic White cardstock before fussy cutting.  Taking inspiration from real Proteas, I coloured the flower with Blackberry Bliss, Petunia Pop, and Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends, while the leaves came to life with Lost Lagoon and Soft Sea Foam Blends.

To finish, I added a white-embossed sentiment from the Gathering Moments stamp set on Blackberry Bliss cardstock and scattered Iridescent Foil Gems across the card for a touch of sparkle.
