Let’s talk about my project…

The fun fold project I contributed to the tutorial bundle is angular, striking, and features a wow-factor pop-out that is sure to delight.

Bundles: Perfectly Pears Stamp Set + Perfectly Pears Dies (photopolymer: 166154). Ink: Mossy Meadow (133683), Old Olive (147090), Darling Duckling (165277). Card/Paper: Darling Duckling (165294), Basic White (166781), Basic White Thick (159230), Painterly Pears 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (166146). Accessories: Low Profile Dots (166157), Medium Deep Combo Stampin' Blends (159461). Tools: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Paper Trimmer (152392), Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (144108).

There are a couple of things that are helpful to know about this fabulous fun fold:

1. It may look complex with its many-angled sides, but the cutting and scoring are actually quite simple.  These are the best fun folds!
2. When you decorate this design, you embellish both sides—the back panel is where you’ll write your heartfelt message.
3. Despite its dimensional look, the card folds flat for posting by laying flat and simply tucking in the two sides, just like a gatefold card.

For this blog hop project, I finished my fun fold card with the Painterly Pears Suite, pulling colour inspiration from the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper that dresses the side panels.  The centre panel showcases that beautiful stamped pear, accented with clusters of die-cut flowers.
