It’s the beautiful, soft pinks and blues that first capture the imagination with the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite.  I embraced those sweet hues to create this elegant, yet simple-to-make, thank you note card.

To create the angled background, I started with a 9 cm x 6.5 cm (3-1/2" x 2-1/2") piece of Petal Pink patterned paper.  I measured 3 cm (1") down from the top right corner, marked it lightly in pencil, then cut diagonally from the top left corner to that mark.  This gentle slope adds a lovely detail when adhered to a Basic White Note Card.

Above the patterned paper, I added the delicate floral lattice die-cut (cut from Basic White cardstock) and stamped “Thanks” in Misty Moonlight ink.  The sentiment is actually part of a longer stamp—I simply inked up the part I needed, a simple technique with a big impact.

The beautiful Asian-inspired vase is the focal point of the card.  It was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink onto Basic White cardstock, die-cut, and then shaded in the same ink colour using a Small Blending Brush along the left edge and bottom for extra depth.  I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals for added dimension.

And of course, no card is complete without a little sparkle!  A large and small gold Flower Accent were the perfect finishing touch.
