Have you tried the Everyday Arches Dies yet? These layered arches are perfect for any occasion and can be utilised in various projects. I previously shared a bright, floral thank-you card featuring one of the arches as a background. This time, I have combined the arch dies with the coordinating Arched Wishes stamp set to craft a classic black-and-white birthday card accented with a touch of pink!

The Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper inspired this striking black-and-white palette. I began with a strip of this beautiful hand-drawn patterned paper along the left edge of the birthday card. I then used the Everyday Arches Dies to create an arched feature on the card front that frames that cute stamped cupcake and the curved "make a wish" sentiment. In the background, I stamped the starburst image several times in VersaMark ink onto Basic Black cardstock. I added clear embossing powder and heat-set the images to create a subtly shiny background. Finally, I ran the Basic Black cardstock through the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder to add some fun texture.

At the beginning of this post, I mentioned that this birthday card features a flip front (and the title also refers to it, too!). This is accomplished by starting with a standard greeting card base, partially die-cutting the front with one of the Everyday Arches Dies, and then folding the outer part of the card front backward to the spine. This creates an interestingly shaped card front, and then when you open the birthday card...
... the front flips over, and you have this lovely arch shape on the inside, too! The Everyday Arches Dies and Arched Wishes stamp set makes a great pairing and is the perfect combination for this fun front-flip birthday card.
