I love the wood panel design of this stunning patterned paper from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper.  The rustic, beachy colours were the inspiration for this cute gift bag...

I created a gift bag using Basic White cardstock so that the patterned paper was the star of the show.  The Basic White cardstock was cut at 26 cm x 16 cm (10-1/2" x 6"), then scored at 10 cm, 12.5 cm, 22.5 cm, and 25 cm (4", 5", 9", and 10").  This wraps around to create the sides of the gift bag.  I then scored the bottom at 2.5 cm (1"), cut along the scored lines to create flaps, and then adhered the flaps to form the base of the gift bag.

The top of the gift bag was then trimmed with a 4 cm (1-1/2") strip of woodgrain patterned paper from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper pack.  This set the tone for the rest of the decorative elements of the gift bag.  The bird from the Country Birdhouse Bundle was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured in coordinating colours: Pool Party and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends.  This bird was then die-cut and adhered to a 6 cm x 2 cm (2-1/4" x 3/4") piece of Basic White cardstock for the words, which was added to the gift bag with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Then I had fun placing additional decorative elements on the gift bag... a twist of Petal Pink ribbon finished with die-cut leaves and flowers with Iridescent Pearls in the centre.

So cute!  I love that patterned paper design from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper - it's one of my favourites!  And the coordinating colours and elements on the front of the gift bag look so pretty together.
