How cute is this!  I have used the Country Birdhouse Bundle to create a fun gift box that (almost) fits a whole box of Hersey's Kisses!  The last few pieces of chocolate were taste-tested to make sure they were okay to gift.

Country Birdhouse Stamp Set + Country Birdhouse Dies Bundle (163401) - $99.00

To create this chocolate-filled gift box, I started by die-cutting two birdhouses from Basic Beige cardstock, one for the base and one for the lid.  I then constructed the 4 cm (1-1/2") tall walls of the gift box and adhered them to the two die-cut birdhouses, so that the base fits inside the lid.

A third birdhouse was cut from Basic Beige cardstock, a hole die-cut in the front (for the bird to peek through), and then it was embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder to give it that beautiful texture.  The sweet bird from the Country Birdhouse Bundle was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a small square of Basic White cardstock, coloured with Misty Moonlight and Pool Party Stampin' Blends, and then adhered behind the birdhouse so he peeks through the hole.  This birdhouse panel was added to the gift box lid with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Then I had fun decorating the front of the birdhouse with a roof and base die-cut from Misty Moonlight cardstock and pretty scallops die-cut from Basic White cardstock.  The flowers were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink ink onto Basic White cardstock and die-cut out.  They were coloured with Pool Party, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends, then added to the front of the birdhouse gift box with Stampin' Dimensionals and the "sending love" sentiment.

This is such a fun gift box design!  The Country Birdhouse Bundle lends itself well to this gift box style as the birdhouse is an ample size and has a nice simple shape.
