On page 189 of the new mini catalogue you will find the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder.  A hybrid embossing folder is one where the dies snuggly fit inside the embossing folder so you can die-cut and emboss all in one pass!  The Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder has loads of embossed-and-die-cut words that can be used for many occasions.  On the opposite page of the mini catalogue is a fun little tip that you can use with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder.  It says, "Use the Stampin' Brayer to ink the logo side of the embossing folder, then add the dies", which is the technique I have used to create this Valentine's Day or Anniversary Card...

I loaded the Stampin' Brayer with Basic Gray ink and inked the logo side of the Thoughtful Moments Embossing Folder.  I then laid the die over the top, added the Basic White cardstock, closed the embossing folder, and then ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.  The ink wonderfully highlights the words!  I then used the Thoughtful Moments Dies (without the embossing folder) to die-cut two more layers of the "love you" words; one from Flirty Flamingo cardstock and one from More Dazzling Specialty Paper.  I adhered the three "love you" layers so they are staggered with a lovely shadow effect.

The card base is the bright-and-cheery Lemon Lolly cardstock.  For the card front, I used Blending Brushes to apply Petal Pink ink from the top edge and Lemon Lolly ink from the bottom edge of a piece of Basic White cardstock.  To this, I added some stamped hearts and more hearts die-cut from the More Dazzling Specialty Paper.  Then a flourish of Flirty Flamingo Baker's Twine and the die-cut words to finish.

I designed this card as a Valentine's Day or Anniversary card, but you can choose a different sentiment from the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder for another occasion and it would work well too!
