When you have amazing patterned paper like the Meandering Meadows 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, you don't need to add much to create a fantastic card.  This "Hello" friendship note card highlights this gorgeous paper and, yet, is so simple in design.

To create this friendship card, I started with a 7.5 cm x 10 cm (3" x 4") piece of Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper, which I then cut into three 2.5 cm (1") strips.  These three strips of patterned paper were staggered and adhered to an 8.2 cm x 12 cm (3-1/4" x 4-3/4") piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, which was embossed with the decadent Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder before adding to the front of a Very Vanilla Note Card.

I finished my greeting card with a short length of Pecan Pie Centre Striped Ribbon behind a decked-edged circle stamped with "Hello" from the Garden Meadow Bundle.  I also added the cute family of quails, which I stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, coloured with Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends, and gave them a glam-up with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

I didn't stop with just one card!  I made a few of these "Hello" friendship note cards using the same products but chose a different patterned paper from the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper pack.  So much fun!
