On Sunday we held our annual Hamilton Christmas Extravaganza and this is the fun project that Fiona and I designed and taught to everyone who attended.  We used the products from the Merry Bold & Bright Suite on page 8 of the September-December 2023 Mini Catalogue to create a fun-fold Christmas card.

The front of the Christmas card has a string of three lights.  These are die-cut from Vellum and coloured using the Pool Party, Melon Mambo, and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to give them a beautiful semi-translucent hue.  We then stamped the filament in Blueberry Bushel ink and added a lightbulb base that was die-cut from Blueberry Bushel cardstock.  How fun are they?

But wait... there's more!  As I said before, this is a fun-fold card.  In fact, this design is called a Double-Decker Pop-Out Card.  Between the front panel and the gorgeous Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper in the back, there is a stepped piece that pops out when you open the card.  So much fun!

You may have noticed that on the left edge of this Christmas card is the gorgeous Melon Mambo Foil, which we have embossed using the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder.  This looks so stunning!  This foil comes in a pack with two 12" x 12" sheets of Melon Mambo Foil and two 12" x 12" sheets of Granny Apple Green.  So, with that in mind, we had two colour options at the Hamilton Christmas Extravaganza...
