It's always fun when the new annual catalogue comes along and brings with it five fresh, on-trend colours to add to the Stampin' Up! palette. One of the five new colours from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue is... EVENING EVERGREEN - a rich, dark forest green that is close to black. Take a look at how this new hue compares with some of our familiar core colours...
If I was to place this new, intense colour into one of the core colour collections, it would sit nicely in the Neutrals.
I was inspired by the colour combinations from the In The Wild Suite and have used Evening Evergreen with Soft Succulent and Merry Merlot to create the fun stand-up card...

I adore this big cat and love the "you are fierce" sentiment that comes in the Wild Cats stamp set. I have used Soft Succulent ink to stamp this tiger and then added her face and stripes using Evening Evergreen ink. She was adhered to the front of this fun stand-up card, where the card front pops forward as a stand, and then folds flat for posting.
But wait, there's more! The Wild Cats stamp set is two-step stamping at its finest. There is a second big cat that is standing and you can use the same face and stripe images to stamp details to her tiger body too! Not only that, but this stamp set also includes a second face stamp and some spots so your big cat could also be a leopard. Fun!
Here is the standing tiger, which I have stamped on the back of the card...
I am loving the Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent colour combination and I can see using these a lot!
