Welcome to Your Creative Connection; a bi-monthly creative showcase which comes to you on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday/Thursday of each month. Your Creative Connection came together from a group of eight global friends wanting to give you a worldwide connection to creativity. We hope to inspire you to connect with us as we share papercraft ideas using Stampin’ Up! products. Each showcase will have a theme, and we will ‘travel’ around the world to connect with our creative friends.
This week's Your Creative Connection theme is HEY DUDE, so I created a masculine gift card holder using the fabulous World of Good Suite, which is found on page 24 of the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue...

Tools: 1-1/2" Circle Punch (138299), Heat Tool (129056), Stamping Sponges (141337), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Black Stampin’ Dimensionals (150893).
I love this suite for masculine cards. Not only are the colours and the imagery amazing, but the distressed look is perfect! I enhanced this aspect in my card by adding A LOT of ink. Every panel of cardstock and every element on this card is sponged in the coordinating ink. And, in the case of the Cinnamon Cider cardstock, I also sponged the edges a second time in Early Espresso ink, which gives an almost burnt-look.
The World of Good Suite is all about beautiful metallic accents, which you can see in the brass foil designs in the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper and the bronze Antiqued Corners & Accents. I wanted these to steal the show, so I featured them on the front flap of the card.
World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper (152491) - $32.00
Twelve sheets of 12" x 12" patterned paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs
Antiqued Corners & Slides Elements (152471) - $17.75
30 bronze pieces: 20 corners and 10 ribbon slides
When you open this greeting card, not only do you get more of that gorgeous designer paper, but there is also a pocket that is perfectly sized to fit a voucher card.
Such lovely words, don't you think? And so appropriate for this creative world tour!
