Creating snow globe shaker cards for Christmas with the Snow Globe Shaker Domes, Still Scenes stamp set and Snow Globe Scenes Dies is so much fun! Although the Still Scenes Bundle is designed to be used this way, you can also use it without the domes to create beautiful scenes too. Here's one such scene on the front of an acetate gift box...
Bundles: Still Scenes Stamp Set + Snow Globe Scenes Dies (cling: 153023). Ink: Seaside Spray (150085), Tuxedo Black Memento (132708). Stampin' Blends: Shaded Spruce (147938), Seaside Spray (149569), Gray Granite (149537). Card/Paper: Seaside Spray (150889), Whisper White (106549), Silver Foil (132178), Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper (150444), Mercury Glass Designer Acetate (150441). Accessories: Seaside Spray 1/4” Metallic Ribbon (150446), Linen Thread (104199), Ice Stampin' Glitter (150445). The scene on the front of the gift box was inspired by the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. To create the snow-globe effect, I stamped the outline directly onto the chosen designer paper in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, and then die-cut it out. This beautiful, printed paper was the colour inspiration and the background that I built the rest of the snow globe on.
Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper (150444) - $30.00
48 sheets of 6" x 6" patterned paper: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs
I used the fabulous Mercury Glass Designer Acetate to create the sleeve of this Christmas gift box, which just slides off. And inside, the box is lovingly lined with more patterned paper from the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Mercury Glass Designer Acetate (150441) - $24.25
4 sheets of 12" x 12" acetate sheets: 2 each of 2 designs
The good news is that the Still Scenes Stamp Set, Snow Globe Scenes Dies, and Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper will not be discontinued when the 2019 Holiday Catalogue finishes. The stamp set and dies will continue to be orderable, however, the designer paper will be gone for a while and will make a return in the 2020 Holiday Catalogue. But, if you want the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate, this is one of the many products that will retire with the Holiday Catalogue on 2 January. So make sure you get it today!
