My youngest nephew has just past a milestone... he turned five and started school today! He recently had a fun bug-themed birthday party, so I created this cute birthday card for him using the Touches of Texture stamp set...
Stamps: Touches of Texture (wood: 141934, clear: 143251), Itty Bitty Greetings (wood: 146664, clear: 146667). Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento (132708). Stampin' Blends: Pool Party (144605), Granny Apple Green (147274), Highland Heather (147276), Daffodil Delight (144603). Card/Paper: Sahara Sand (121695), Pool Party (124391), Whisper White (106549), Wood Textures 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (144177). Accessories: Silver Metallic Thread (138402). Tools: Classic Label Punch (141491), 1/2" Circle Punch (119869), Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (144108), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).
You may have noticed that the bees on aren't actually sitting on the birthday card. They are hovering and when you shake the card they move! This is a fun technique from Jennifer McGuire.
The dragonfly and the bees are so cute! You can find these stamps in the Touches of Texture stamp set.
The Touches of Texture stamp set is on the Retiring List and is still currently available, but inventory is low so if you want this stamp set then make sure you get it before it's gone. Note, the Wood Textures 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper that's featured on this card has already sold out.
