Here's how it opens up...
This wallet-style card design was taught by Jacque Williams at a past Hamilton Extravaganza. I chose this design as I included birthday gift vouchers and they sat snuggly inside.
Returning to the front of the card, I wanted to tell you how to create the fabulous, chunky, coloured gears that have a very cool 3D effect. It was my downline and friend Christine Palmer who told me about this. Here's the secret recipe...
- Die-cut four gears from Basic Gray card stock. Adhere them one on top the other using Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Pick out the patterned paper from the Classic Garage Designer Series Paper, the one with the coloured gears all over on a Basic Gray background, and die-cut out one of the gears.
- Adhere the die-cut coloured gears on top of the stack of Basic Gray ones.
