Here's something a little different using the very versatile Painted Harvest stamp set. The sunflower from this set is not stamped in traditional yellows, but tone-on-tone using Early Espresso ink stamped onto Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. I really love how this turned out, especially how the sunflower looks like it's part of the wood grain...

Inspired by Painted Harvest Thank You Cards I made earlier this month, I created this coordinating gift box in the style of a Bakers Box or Milk Carton...

This sweet gift box was inspired by the decorated Mini Pizza Box photographed on page 4 of the Holiday Catalogue. The front has a 3" quilted square cut from the Quilted Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, which is then framed and enhance with a coordinating Whisper White die-cut from the Quilt Builder Framelit Dies.

When we think of sunflowers, we think of brilliant yellow, and when it came to stamping the sunflower images from the gorgeous Painted Harvest set, my first cards were stamped in Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry. However, if you search for sunflower images, you will find that sunflowers come in some amazing, and unexpected, colours like burnt oranges and deep crimsons.
