I really like the By the Bay Suite in the mini catalogue for its quintessential New Zealand beach imagery. I especially love the mama bird and her babies in this suite - they sure look similar to a lot of our beautiful shorebirds like the New Zealand Dotterel/Tūturiwhatu. The Double-Door Pop-Up Card has so, so much wow-factor and is a fabulous design for a masculine greeting card, especially when you pair it with the Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper and Picturesque stamp set. I based this fun card on Lisa Curcio's Double-Door Popup Card, which I redesigned and created to fit a standard C6 envelope.
I used most of the Fancy Flora Suite from the current mini catalogue to create a Tent Gift Box, like the Christmas version I created a while ago, inspired by a Sam Donald design. It's the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper and Fine Shimmer Paper Pack that does all the work and gives this fun gift box the wow-factor!
This is the second of two make-and-takes that everyone got to create at the recent Mini Catalogue Launch Party. We used the very versatile Enjoy the Adventure Cards & Envelopes as the base of this birthday card. Don't you just love that patterned wash of blues and greens! We paired that ready-to-use card base with the Black & White Gingham Ribbon and the fabulous, new Queen Bee stamp set.
