Who can guess the colour inspiration for this crazy cake birthday card? That's right, the four cake layers are each of the Hogwarts Houses! From the bottom to the top, the Hogwarts house colours are: Hufflepuff in yellow and black, Gryffindor in red and gold, Slytherin in green and silver and Ravenclaw in blue and bronze...

One final project for the 2017 Sale-A-Bration promotion, which finishes today - a gorgeous birthday card that was a lot of fun to create at a demonstrator Stamp Camp earlier this year. Word stamps can be used for more than just adding sentiments. Stamping words repeatedly in a haphazard- or linear-style is a great way to create an interesting background or a focal point for your project. For this thank you card, I've stamped "SWEET" from the Cool Treats stamp set down my card and then highlighted the word again in the "YOU ARE SWEET" sentiment.
