Saturday was World Cardmaking Day and I celebrated by creating these four Christmas cards using an unconventional stamp set. This is Gorgeous Posies stamped in traditional Christmas colours of Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, and Old Olive.
I was having a play around with a box design and accidentally created this cute mini milk carton gift box. It was not what I intended to create, but love it! The design is easy to create, plus fun to fill to give away. The colours and final finish of this mini milk carton gift box were inspired by Cheryll Miller's Love of Leaves greeting card, which uses the fabulous Love of Leaves Bundle.
I am loving the way you can stamp the tree from the Life is Beautiful stamp set for different seasons. So far, I have stamped this tree and made cards for both spring and autumn, and now I have created this fun friendship card with beautiful summery colours.
This week's Your Creative Connection theme is HALLOWEEN/AUTUMN. Here in New Zealand, we don't traditionally celebrate Halloween and it is currently spring-time, making this theme a bit of a stretch. However, I did purchase the Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper from the mini catalogue because it is so much more than just Halloween. On the reverse of the pages are hauntingly, beautiful florals and delicate fillagree designs. Because I already had the Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper, I paired it with the Little Treats Bundle and Round Tins to create this ghoulish treat.
