Our first Hamilton Extravaganza of the year was held last weekend and it was a wonderful day of creating fabulous projects, inspiration, and fun!
We love making our guests at the Hamilton Extravaganza feel special, so each of the eight local Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who collaborated for the event gave a small handmade gift....
... and we also gave away prizes too! Here's some of the lovely product and gifts that were donated and given out…
At the Hamilton Extravaganza, we had five teams of teachers who rotated around the room, teaching their projects, so all guests went home with five completed projects plus new techniques, tips and ideas.
In this first project, Jacque showed everyone how to use the Salt Technique to create a gorgeous variegated backdrop for a beautiful horse scene, stamped using the Let It Ride stamp set. This vintage-style card has the detailed central area die-cut using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits and popped up for a fabulous framing effect.
Bev and Julie taught everyone how to create a fabulous pop-up box card and filled it with butterflies! To get that bright, colourful display they stamped using a custom-inked Spectrum Pad and the Butterfly Gala stamp set...
If you love texture, then you'll love Irene and Rayleen's Tea Together Gift Card! The background is embossing using the Lace Embossing Folder and the tea pot using the Tufted Embossing Folder...
Then inside is a pocket with a tea-themed surprise!
Christine and Irene showed everyone how to create a beautiful gift set of notecards using the Needle & Thread stamp set and coordinating Needlepoint Elements Framelits Dies. A touch of soft sponging, a swirl of Linen Thread, and some sequin bling really bring these to life!
And lastly, I showed everyone how to create a gift card holder for the Sweet Cups. These were decorated using the Sweetest Thing stamp set and coordinating Jar of Sweets Framelits Dies, plus the delicious How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper.
Tucked in the back is a sweet little note card, but can also include a voucher too!
All our guests and teachers had a lovely day at the Hamilton Extravaganza, and everyone went home with new ideas and creative inspiration.
