My Christmas CardsThe brief for my Christmas cards this year was that they needed to be simple, as I needed to create quite a lot of them, but needed some texture and a little wow-factor. To simplify the process I decided on a single Christmas card design and then used tools like the Stamparatus to mass produce them for posting to friends, family, and colleagues. Stamps: His Light (wood: 147739, clear: 147736). Ink: Coastal Cabana (147097), VersaMark (102283). Card/Paper: Poppy Parade (121694), Coastal Cabana (131302), Garden Green (108605), Shimmery White (121717), Whisper White (106549). Accessories: Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (146924), White Stampin' Emboss Powder (109132). Tools: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (143263), Tin Tile 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (147906), Sprig Punch (148012), Stamparatus (148187), Embossing Buddy (103083), Heat Tool (129056), Aqua Painter (103954), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)Here's a snapshot of the Christmas cards in production... I chose the His Light stamp set for this year's Christmas cards because I loved the calligraphy and the words really spoke to me. I used the beautiful, big "Rejoice" stamp as the focal point. It was white embossed on to Shimmery White card stock and then a quick wash of Coastal Cabana ink applied over the top to make it pop. To the left is the Tin Tile Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, which is my favourite right now, and it's finished with a little flourish of punched greenery and red rhinestones.
My Christmas card is a z-fold card and it opens like this... I think I nailed the brief! I love how this Christmas card came out and the beautiful words from the His Light stamp set. If you too love this stamp set then make sure you order it soon as it is one of the retiring products in the Year-End Closeout sale and it will be discontinued after 2 January.
Beautiful Baubles Christmas CardThis Christmas card has A LOT of wow-factor! It not only has impact, but it is a design that is simple to create... Stamps: Beautiful Baubles Stamp Set + Detailed Baubles Thinlits Dies (photopolymer: 149920). Ink: Jet Black StazOn (101406), Night of Navy (147110). Stampin' Blends: Bermuda Bay (144600), Night of Navy (144040). Card/Paper: Bermuda Bay (131286), Silver Glimmer Paper (146960), Window Sheet (142314). Accessories: Silver Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes (147900), Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine (146336), Silver Sequin Trim (144230). Tools: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (143263), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).
The focus of this Christmas Card is the glimmering ornament from the Beautiful Baubles stamp set. It's like a gorgeous, sparkly, stained-glass window! The bauble is stamped on a 4" x 4" piece of Window Sheet using StazOn ink, then turned over and coloured using Stampin' Blends. The non-traditional colours I've used are Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy. I used the Silver Foil-Edged Cards for this Christmas card. These card bases and coordinating envelopes are trimmed with pretty silver foil. The fabulous, decorative border from the Detailed Baubles Thinlits was die-cut from the card front, then the coloured bauble is adhered behind followed by a circle of Silver Glimmer Paper and a layer of Bermuda Bay card stock. Take it from me, this card photographs well, but looks 100-times better in real life, especially when that gorgeous glimmer paper catches the light and shines through the coloured bauble.

Festive Farmhouse Christmas Pop Out!Changing things up today... instead of showing you the front of this card first, I'm sharing the inside of a Christmas card that features a lot of the lovely stamps from the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set. Plus, take a look at the gorgeous die-cut fence from the coordinating Farmhouse Framelits Dies. Bundles: Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set + Farmhouse Framelits Dies (photopolymer: 148478). Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento (132708), Mossy Meadow (147111), Pool Party (147107). Markers: Basic Black Stampin’ Blends (147942), Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends (144598), Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (144601), Old Olive Stampin’ Blends (144597), Pool Party Stampin’ Blends (144605), Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends (145058). Card/Paper: Pool Party (124391), Gray Granite (147008), Whisper White (106549), Whisper White Thick (140490), Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper (147820). Accessories: Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine (147888), Galvanized Buttons (147891), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220). Tools: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (143263), Magnetic Platform (130658), Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (145372), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).Inside this Christmas card there is a pop-out with four panels, each framing stamped and die-cut images coloured with Stampin' Blends - such fun! Because of the very detailed inside, I decided to keep the outside of this Christmas card simple to show off the pretty Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper. This paper is perfect for Christmas, however these stripe, plaid, and wood-grain patterns can be used year-round too.
The final touches to the card front was a Galvanized Button, tied with a length of Cherry Cobbler Cotton Twine, and some clear rhinestones, which I coloured with the Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blend to match. I love that you can coordinate some basic embellishments by using the Stampin' Blends to add some colour!
