Jessica (Hamilton)

After seeing my Baby Onsie Cards here on my website, Jessica sent me an email with the subject line "Great minds thing alike".  She had also made a baby onsie card during that same week!  Her card uses the Sweet Treat Cups punch (1-3/4" Circle punch) and features a gorgeous monogrammed pocket with faux-stitching.

Jessica's Baby Onsie Card

Jessica also shared with me a card she made for her friend's little girl's 2nd birthday.  This pretty card uses the Priceless stamp set.  The paper flower that Jessica added to the card is the same as what we made in the April Workshops.  These flowers are easy to make and are proving to be very popular - I love seeing how other stampers have added them to their creations.

Jessica's 2nd Birthday Card

Thank you Jessica for sharing these creations with me and everyone here.

Lyn (Midhirst)

Lyn, my mother-in-law, has been making some really lovely cards that I want to share with you.  Firstly, here are three cards that feature the Medallion stamp...

Lyn's Medallion Card

This card is in Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand and Basic Black.  The centre of the Medallion stamp has been punched out using the Scallop Circle punch and popped up on dimensionals with a brad in the centre.  What you can't see is that the centre has a lovely lacquer finish with Crystal Effects.  The sentiment is from Warm Words and is black embossed.  I love the layering of ribbon across the bottom.

Lyn's Medallion Card

This gorgeous card is in Real Red and Whisper White and incorporates a hand-made flower in the middle of the Medallion stamp.  A lovely combination.  What you can't see is that each of the flower petals are stamped and the edges are daubered in white.  The scroll is from Season of Joy and sentiment from Upsy Daisy.

Lyn's Medallion Card

For this card, Mum used Brilliant Blue and Whisper White.  She stamped the Medallion stamp, free-cut it out and daubered the edges.  The bottom of the card has the So Swirly jumbo wheel stamped.  Like the card above, Mum has layered ribbon.  She shared a trick for making it look like the two ribbons are tied together:  attach the organza ribbon to the card, tie the 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon into a bow and attach it to the card on top of the organza ribbon, secure the two ribbons together using some thread in the middle of the bow.  I love this effect!

Mum also shared with me two other cards she made.  Both cards use Designer Paper and feature a quliting technique to create lovely backgrounds.  The first one is my favourite.  It uses Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Very Vanilla and Cottage Wall Designer Paper.  The flower stamp is from Heartfelt Thanks.

Lyn's Quilted Card

Here is another card using the quilting technique.

Thanks Mum for photographing these cards and allowing me to share them here.  If you have a project you want to share, then please let me know.

Sarah (Hamilton)

I received this lovely Christmas card from Sarah yesterday.  I love the colours, very stunning and brilliant.  Thank you for the Christmas card Sarah.

Jessica (Hamilton)

I received this card at the end of last week from Jessica.  She has used the faux silk technique from the June workshop to create a wonderful "snow" effect.  I also love the faux stitching around the button snow man using the mat pack and white gel pen.  Lovely card, thank you Jessica.

Sarah (Hamilton)

I lent my heat tool to a friend of mine, who returned it with this beautiful card.  I really love the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set!  Thank you for this lovely card Sarah.

Rose (Hamilton)

Last night at my workshop I received this lovely Christmas card from Rose.  I love that she has used the masking technique from our November workshop to create this card and the colours she has used are gloriously rich.

Jennifer (Hamilton)

This wonderful card is from Jennifer.  She has made a tri-fold shutter card and I am very impressed.  They aren't too hard to make, but they can be difficult to fill all the surfaces.  Jennifer has made extensive use of the Season of Joy stamp set and the Stampin' Write markers to create a really stunning card.

Rose (Hamilton)

Rose's son is going on a short-term overseas missions trip and he needed thank you cards for everyone who supported him getting there.  Rose whipped-up this lovely thank you card for him to use.  Thank you Rose (and Luke) for the lovely card.

Margaret (Raglan)

Margaret has been making her Christmas cards and sent me some photos.  Here are three of my favourites:
